My good friend Darlene called me about a year ago and told me she was getting married. Right after that, she asked me if I was available to photograph her wedding. I was thrilled and flattered she was entrusting me to capture her day.
Annie and I met Darlene and Jeff at Arbor Terrace in Fallbrook and began snapping away. Perfect weather under blue bird skies with the beautiful tropical surroundings made for easy picture taking…actually, we just make it look easy. Arbor Terrace is an amazing place for weddings. They have two distinct locations on the property; Arbor Terrace and The Grand Tradition. The Grand Tradition is a beautiful mansion on the grounds of greenbelts and a huge pond.
The ceremony took place in front of cascading waterfalls, tropical foliage and, of course, all of Darlene and Jeff’s friends and family. Immediately after, we all walked around the grounds and Annie and I photographed the couple enjoying a quiet 30 minutes together before being introduced into their reception.
Once the party time started, Darlene’s father gave a very touching (and hilarious) speech. Jeff is officially off the market, so all of his “girlfriends” returned keys to their rightful owner. Then it was party time.
They danced, drank and laughed the evening away; and we captured it all. After all the fun, they were seen off by all of the guests while walking through a tunnel of bubbles courtesy of the lungs of their friends and family.
