Jake made his grand entrance on January 25th at 8:17am, weighing in at 5lbs, 7oz. He was a bit early and needed a little help getting stronger. Now, I had on my calendar the day he was scheduled to arrive (February 5th) for weeks. I had planned to see him that day and take some hospital visit photos. Well, Jake had other plans and as all you parents out there know, schedules and plans can be tossed out the window at any second. The darn NICU is pretty strict, so I had to wait till he came home to meet him.
Kristin and Joel brought him home on Thursday night and on Friday morning I got to meet him! I have never held such a tiny baby before! And my goodness, this boy is GORGEOUS! He looks like a perfect little doll! He has got a ton of blond hair and oh my, he’s toes.. so cute!!
Kristin and Joel are such good parents, I’m so happy for them. I cannot tell you how much it means to me to be there to capture this new chapter in their lives, I’m one lucky girl!
