Annie Laurie was raised in a home where art was not only appreciated, but the process of making art was a family tradition. Photography became her voice early on. Annie studied Art and Photography in college, and though she could draw and paint, photography was her true love.
While her 2 boys, Skylar and Zander, were young, Annie ran a graphic design business. Designing logos and web sites helped pay the bills, but it certainly wasn’t her passion. She did some portrait photography during this time, but wasn’t convinced that wedding photography was for her. Her long time friend Michelle, suggested she give wedding photography a try. After assisting Michelle on a wedding for the first time, Annie came home and told her family that she finally figured out what she wanted to do with her life!
Annie loves weddings. She loves how each wedding has its own life. She cries at every wedding. She laughs at every wedding. Every wedding is an emotional roller coaster that Annie is eager to ride! She notices and captures every detail, from the flowers and cake to the delicate buttons on your wedding dress. Telling the story of your wedding day through her images, Annie searches for all of the emotions. This is her passion. This is her purpose.
